Of neo-baroque style, its building was started in 194 and concluded in 1959; located where formerly was the Jesus Hospital. The façade of the temple, made in pink quarry stone is compound by a portal and two towers.
The portal has only one section and a top; you can admire the nice pillars profusely worked, and between them niches with sculptures of Saint Peter and Saint Paul; on the top is a sculpture of the holy heart that lies on the pedestal below which is the inscription “Venid a mi todos” (Come to me all). Inside is the basilica floor where dominates the pink quarry stone.
