Hacienda la Cantera      Public Restricted Access
 
Located 9 kilometers away from the city of Aguascalientes; known since the middle of the 17th century as San Nicolas de Chapultepec, it has been inherited to the presbytery Ignacio Rincon Gallardo by the end of the 18th century.

In the middle of the 19th century, it belonged to the colonel Francisco Flores Alatorre, husband of Josefa Rincón Gallardo. It was considered a hacienda of wheat and flour, of good production and well located around the city of Aguascalientes.

It has been fractioned by Francisco Flores Rincon Gallardo to pay his debt, despite he kept the heart of the hacienda, that at the end of the 19th century was sold to Antonio Morfin Vargas by the widow of Francisco Flores Rosas and since 1963, it has been donated with its 28 hectares, remaining of the 15,000 hectares which constituted it in its origin, to the father Antonio Hernandez Gallegos to convert it into a orphanage for disappeared children.
